The Minority Undergraduate Development Scholarshipmoney.... _______.

The Birmingham Construction IndustryAuthority actively recruits High School Seniors who might qualify for the award of its Minority Undergraduate Development Scholarship. This scholarship is available to minority students from the Birmingham area who plan to attend a four year accredited college within the State of Alabama or two year colleges and trade schools with construction related and trade programs. Students are selected annually and the award is based upon career interest in the construction industry and potential, rather than solely upon need. The scholarship started during the FALL session of the 1996 achedemic year with five students receiving financial awards. Since that time, a number of others have benefited from this vital resource. The BCIA recognizes that financial assistance is necessary for developing our future industry leaders. For more information, contact us at scholarships@bcia1.org.
